Our new home! Baby Lei Lei is 1.
We finally are in our new home as of November 14. Yipee, our own home to settle in, and right before the holidays.
We want to thank all who housed us "homeless", for 3 months while we were looking and deciding and bidding. Oldhams, Rodriguez, Cleveland's, and the Marriott.
Our new address...
788 Devonshire Dr. Saratoga Springs, UT. 84045
It is such a blessing to be in our own place! ;)
Leilani is 1 yrs old as of October 22, and Naomi is 4 and will be 5 in Feb 17.
Tommy enjoys his job in Lehi at the Marriott, just a 10 min drive to work now. I am loving being at home and taking care of our girls.
We are members of the SS 7th ward and enjoying the neighborhood.
Have a wonderful holiday season!
Love,
Gray family

Grandma Christine
In the Rose Garden...
We enjoyed visiting with Grandma Christine who came up from Bakersfield, CA. to meet Leilani and to spoil Naomi! ;)
We enjoyed being with her and meeting more family on the Kinghorn side. I found out I am related to Mary "Queen of Scotts," Alexander the Great, and I am one of the 4th great-grandaughters to Martin Harris. We have Scottish and Danish in the family. Hansen, Campbell and Atkin.
I had a great time with the ladies of Scott. ;)
Thanks momma C for taking the time to be with my family and I. We will miss you!

My Girls!
Naomi is 4 and is a good big sister and mommy's little helper. She is on summer break from Pre-school, and is taking dance classes now. We love our energetic, talkative, jumping, singing, dancing, a little jealous of Lei Lei- Nomi. We love you.
Leilani is 7 months already. She is such a happy baby. She gives really big smiles and loves to to be thrown in the air. She like to fly. She is a giggler and loves her big sister. She thinks her sister is hilarious and loves to watch her run and jump and play. She loves her mommy and daddy too. She watches me when I am in the room and gives a little pout when I walk out. She loves to sit on mommy's lap and listen to my conversations as if she is understanding and agreeing with whatever I say. She loves to cuddle and be played with, especially with her big bear-daddy. She can sit up for a bit, then will fall over. Naomi is usually there to help her back up. She can roll over. Her bottom 2 teeth are popping up. She is teething now. She doesn't have much hair, but she has the longest eye lashes you have ever seen. She has the cutest cheeks too. I love my Lei Lei.

Hawaii 2009
My hosts were Sandee, my cousin from Hilo who lives in Provo, Utah and her lovely parents, and her brother August and his Doreen. They are such a generous family and they gave me a great vacation. I had a wonderful time in Hilo with them and Sandee's kids. Next time I will have to bring my whole family. Sorry Naomi, next time, but mommy missed her girls terribly and Tommy of course. Well, here is my trip, enjoy!
Snorkeling at Haunama Bay, volcano on the Big Island, Hilton, dolphins, fishing for crabs and fish on Coconut Island.
In Honolulu I was welcomed by cousin Cheryle and we all had dinner the night I left for Hilo with Herring and his family and my cousins, Evelyn and Lusa.

Should-a, would-a, could-a...
I have been thinking of my "what ifs" in life, like what if I never moved overseas, or what if I decided to go to school back east, or "I should have done this or that" or never should have picked this route...and I have come to the conclusion that you just can't look back and "wonder" about all the what if's. Because it can make you crazy with regret, maybe sorrow or depression and there are NO time machines, and life is not going to wait for me to finally figure out that I need to just be happy with where I am at now. OK... so I will probably never be a tennis star,(HA) but its not too late to develop talents and grow as a woman, wife and mother.
WOW! I must be having a bit of a midlife crisis...I am getting too DEEP even for me, hahaha! ;) I must be having a bit of regret turning 35 and a friend told me that 35 rounds up to 40? AAAAAhhhhh! ;(
I am sooo grateful for being a mother, it is a hard job but so rewarding, hearing Leilani's first giggles and seeing her smile is a dream come true! I feel very blessed to be able to have children and to teach them the gospel. I love my girls, they really are a joy to me, how lucky I feel. Naomi is such a loving helpful big sister. She always gives me a play by play of what is happening with Lei Lei or (MElani). She will be such a great friend and motherly figure to Lei Lei as the years go by. I need to take more joy in this. I am also grateful for being a wife, sister, friend, and a daughter, and a teacher, and all other blessings in my life, which are plenty!
Thanks for reading! ;)

Drummer girl, NOMI!
We were visiting my sister in Cali at her home and was watching John play his drums, so Naomi wanted to give it a try...that girl has rythymn!
Isn't it fun to wonder what your child will do or love, or what kind of talents they will possess. This is a fun age for Naomi to discover what she loves/ hates, and to try everything, she wants to know everything and why. She also loves to tell me what is a girl thing or a boy thing, she doesn't like boy things. I love it!
I wish I played tennis in my early years and stuck to playing the violin, oh well, I guess there are always "what if's"...
Well... should I buy Naomi a drum set? JK ;)
What are your "what if's"...
