Brady Bunch
So lately Naomi wants to watch "The Brady Bunch" at 6pm on the BYU channel. So we have been watching it together, and even though I have already seen most of the episodes, it is a good nap time for me on the couch. Sometimes I will hear her giggle at the show, and other times she just sits quietly and watches and really observes the show. So I have been contemplating if I should let her watch this weird 70's show that I watched as a child, and still can't believe it is still on the air. It is a silly show and the family can get annoying. But today I could not stop laughing...Naomi was making fun of the show, she was copying what they said and making funny faces as if she knows this show is so unrealistic and quite stupid. She was saying mommy what is going on with all the boys and girls, and I said exactly...what is going on with all the boys and girls...hahahaha! It was a classic naomi observation, she is so smart and knows what is going on in life, sometimes I think wow I have a really mature 3 year old.

Obama
Well... are new president has been chosen, and I will respect the decision of the American people. I am excited to see how he lives up to his promises and does evaluate our country and makes change where needed. I will say- having some "soul" power in the white house will be fun, maybe some James Brown, or the Temptations playing in the surround sound in the white house would be a nice change. Having a new national anthem maybe, " Cause were Movin on up, to the east side...to a big apartment in the skyyyyy." Movin on up...Maybe he can bring back the Supreme's or straighten out Michael Jackson-(what is up with MJ anyways). I really would like to bring back tapes and vhs, I hate DVD's...one scratch and the movie or cd is ruined! I did enjoy his acceptance speech, I thought he was gracious, humbled, and respected McCain. Anyways...just excited about the "change", that is going to happen! We will see...

Twilight GRADE B
Lori's movie Review...Twilight
I enjoyed this movie, as I enjoyed all the books. I laughed and was intrigued by the world of vampires and werewolves. It is what it is, for what it was. I wasn't expecting an Oscar performance, it was like watching a long music video. Jasper was a riot, I didn't believe he was in pain from all the human blood around him, maybe more constipated then anything. Jacob's hair was kind of annoying, who ever was the makeup artist needed to fix that unrealistic hairdo (wig). The white faces on the Cullen family and red lips was a bit cheesy. I loved the actress playing Alice, she was great and exactly who I imagined from the book. However, Rosalie was not! She wasn't in my mind the most beautiful woman in the world and she looked like a modern Latina girl, mid 20's with a bad blonde job from L.A. They missed that boat. I enjoyed Edward and Bella, I thought they did a good job. The actress playing Bella was a right on pick. Edward was handsome and he did a good job playing a vampire, the forest scene was fun. Dr. Cullen and his wife was a good choice for the actors and I wanted to see more of them. I also wanted more of the school scenes with Edward "hand in hand" with Bella. I thought Jacob's scenes were jipped, he should of had more scenes from the book in the movie. But, I am really excited for the second movie. I give this movie a "B" for "Bella" in my grade book!
